Review Policies and Information

I am happy to accept copies of books to review on this blog. As of this posting, I am accepting almost any genre, with the exception of religious or romance/erotica titles. I do prefer YA, literary fiction, women's fiction, sci-fi and fantasy, and thriller/mystery novels.

When offering a title for review, please provide me with the following information:
  • Title and Author
  • Publisher and Publication Date
  • Genre
  • Brief Synopsis
  • When you would like a review posted (if you have a preference)
I will accept both ebooks for Kindle and physical copies, although I prefer physical copies as I find them easier to read. I will either keep physical copies or pass them along to friends once finished and reviewed.

Please allow me one month after receipt to review before your preferred deadline (if you have one). I will post my review here on my blog, in addition to on Amazon, Goodreads, and Edelweiss+. If you would like me to post anywhere else please add that in your communication!

All books provided for a review will include a disclaimer, and all reviews will be 100% honest. I will not give a positive review to a book I did not like, no matter what. If I do give a negative review, I will be sure to explain why in detail.

5 Stars: This book was phenomenal. I couldn't put it down and I loved every bit of it, from the characters to the plot to the writing. Would definitely reread and would recommend to anyone. AKA this book deserves maid of honor title at my wedding.

4 Stars: I really enjoyed this book, but I didn't quite bond with it like a 5 star read. It could be that the character development was lacking or I found holes in the plot. Regardless, this was a pretty good read. AKA this book would still 100% be in the wedding party.

3 Stars: This book wasn't a complete waste of time, but I didn't really like it that much overall. Glad I gave it a chance but probably would not read it again. This had major elements that rubbed me the wrong way but decent parts too. AKA this book would get invited to my wedding but would not be in the wedding party itself.

2 Stars: While I wasn't a fan, I could see why people would be, and there was still something redeeming about it (whether that be a unique story line, a character I couldn't help but love, or pretty decent writing). AKA this would be an acquaintance who I would tell was not invited to the wedding due to "space limitations."

1 Star: This book was terrible. I found no redeeming qualities in it (the cover art doesn't count here) and odds are I couldn't even finish it. AKA I wouldn't even tell this person I was getting married.
